Ten months have passed since the beginning of the acanter pandemic, a inhuman catastrophe that is truly a zombie apocalypse blanketed by medical terms and the upheavals of hospitals. Society denotes Iwasuma, Japan, a fictional island west of Hokkaido, for being the location of where the world turned upside down and where people began turning into walking corpses; so now, Yui Sawaguchi and Sawa Taigyoku are seeking answers.Polar opposites in motives and personality, but shared in their goals, these two protagonists will lead separate stories that ultimately uncover disturbing truths behind the world they were already unfamiliar with. Her role in the story does not fully develop until the latter episode; however, she definitely knows more than she lets on. . .

Those unnaturally violet eyes of hers are hard to tear your eyes from, even when you want to run as fast as possible from her merciless mannerisms. . .she, similarly to Renge, seems to know a lot more than she lets on; but, she lacks any ability to hold a conversation for you to figure it out.

YUMA SOUYA is one of the main characters of LILY OF SIWANG. A clumsy idiot with only pure-hearted intentions in mind, she has self-proclaimed herself the title of, "Sawa's best friend." She's the butt monkey of all jokes and the comedic relief who is unbearably sensitive to insults, something which she is frequently subjected to by her voluntary association with Sawa. Her suspicions fall on Renge early throughout the story, Yuma's motive slowly twisting itself from saving the world to figuring out what that green-haired girl's deal is.

While she only is present within the first episode, her role in the story is much more grand and unexpected than one may have pre-determined. . .

Her actual name is unknown, being that it's all scratched out on her hospital identification card. . .but, her personality is enough to show that this doctor clearly shows her heart on her sleeve. A quirky and strange woman, the "Isha" bears a personality akin to Yuma Souya, in spite of their complete difference in generation. She possesses a similar interest of the source of the zombie apocalypse and works alongside the main characters within the latter episode to determine its world-changing cause.
